Westfield is seeking a Region Leader for Middle Market Underwriting and Sales to develop and execute the underwriting and sales strategy for the assigned region. You will lead regional business development, underwriting execution, and portfolio management, collaborating with Distribution, Product Management, Marketing, and Underwriting Operations to hit territory objectives.

Qualifications

8+ years of Commercial Underwriting experience and 5+ years of direct people management.
Bachelor's degree in related field; Master's degree preferred.
Professional licenses/certifications in CPCU/AU or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilités

Leads the Middle Market underwriting and sales organization for the region, establishing business priorities, monitoring performance, and ensuring execution of regional new business, renewal, pricing, and profitability objectives.
Leads underwriting managers and teams to achieve productivity and portfolio results with sound discipline and cross-functional partnership.
Builds a culture of collaboration across field, home office, and virtual teams with clear accountability.
Ensures adherence to guidelines, authority, policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and QA standards.
Owns talent development, hiring, succession planning, performance management, and career coaching for the region.
