Responsibilities include monitoring performance, guiding underwriting decisions, developing talent, and ensuring adherence to underwriting guidelines.

Qualificações

• 5-8 years of underwriting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or commensurate experience.

Responsabilidades

• Monitors performance of commercial lines staff toward goals and participates in branch strategy.
• Underwrites profitability, growth, and retention of new and renewal business within authority.
• Handles referrals exceeding team authority and ensures calibrated authority grants.
• Collaborates with Underwriting Operations and Territory Leaders to drive best practices.
• Develops underwriting acumen through QA findings and mentoring.
• Manages priorities and workload distribution; completes personnel and reporting duties.
• Learns industry trends and shares knowledge to improve production and support staff.
