Job summary

RichSmith Management is seeking a Lead Service Technician for the Central-North Arkansas region. You will oversee maintenance operations across multiple apartment communities and lead on-site teams to ensure high-quality service and safety compliance.

The role requires HVAC certification, EPA Type 2/Universal, and at least 3 years in a regional or senior maintenance position, with frequent travel across properties. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• HVAC Certification or EPA Type 2 or Universal is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a regional or senior-level maintenance role.
• Ability to travel frequently and adapt to changing schedules.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily maintenance operations at multiple communities.
• Supervise and train on-site techs, groundskeepers, and other maintenance personnel.
• Implement preventive maintenance plans and major capital projects.
• Conduct Physical Needs Assessments and assist with budget planning.
• Review and manage warranties and vendor relationships.
• Assist with new construction inspections and prepare punch lists.
• Lead site visits and readiness for state physical inspections.
• Develop companywide maintenance policies and training programs.
• Monitor expenses and suggest cost-saving strategies.
• Participate in hiring, evaluations, and training of maintenance staff.
• Stay informed on industry regulations, trends, and compliance standards.
