Job summary

RichSmith Management in Cabot, AR is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Service Technician to perform on-site maintenance, respond to service requests, and complete make-readies. This hands-on role requires strong HVAC and general repair knowledge and a commitment to resident satisfaction.

You will troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance systems, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to preventative maintenance and property upkeep.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of related maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC certification and EPA certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC troubleshooting and repair.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical appliance repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs throughout the apartment community.
• Respond to service requests promptly, completing most within one business day.
• Complete apartment make-readies, including painting, repairs, and inspections.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, appliances, plumbing, electrical components.
• Perform preventative maintenance and quarterly/semi-annual reports.
• Maintain and service swimming pool equipment.
• Interior and exterior painting as needed.
• Keep maintenance shop organized, stocked, and safe.
• Ensure supplies are available for make-readies and routine tasks.
• Provide guidance to other maintenance staff as needed.
• Identify maintenance concerns and assist with overall property condition.
