Job summary

Rumpke is seeking a Region Landfill Manager to oversee operations across multiple facilities in the Ohio region. You will ensure compliance with EPA and state regulations while directing a team to meet safety, quality, and cost targets.

The role requires extensive waste industry experience, strong leadership, and proven P&L management skills. Collaboration with other departments and periodical reporting are essential to drive regional performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in waste industry and managing P&L.
• Knowledge of EPA/state/federal regulations.
• Ability to travel between facilities and work nights/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional landfill operations in a safe manner and in compliance with all regulations.
• Develop and maintain the regional operational plan including labor hours and costs.
• Ensure regulatory inspections and certifications are met across the region.
• Coordinate landfill activities with other functions and suppliers.
• Monitor safety, quality, and delivery commitments and manage budgets and costs.
• Lead staffing decisions, performance reviews, and record-keeping.
