Job summary

Microbac Laboratories, Inc. seeks a Regional Laboratory Operations Director, Mid-Atlantic, to oversee multiple accredited laboratories in the Mid-Atlantic region and guide strategic and financial performance.

The role requires strong leadership, P&L accountability, budgeting and forecasting, client engagement, and operational excellence across facilities, with up to 50% travel to support performance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science related field is required.
• 10 years of commercial laboratory experience preferred.
• Proven leadership experience in laboratory operations.
• Technical knowledge of laboratory testing industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee profitability and financial performance of multiple labs.
• Lead planning, organization, and resources for sample processing and client consulting.
• Ensure operations meet quality, safety, and compliance standards.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and communicate capabilities.
• Manage staff development, performance, and a compliant work environment.
