Job summary

New Mexico Department of Health is seeking an Associate IT Systems Administrator for the Northeast Region (Region 2) of the Service Management Bureau in the Information Technology Services Division. This role maintains desktop hardware and provides Level 2 support across DOH offices, facilities, and hospitals, enabling critical public health programs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field plus 2 years of relevant experience; or 4 years total education/experience substitute.
• Experience supporting a Windows workplace and resolving computer-related incidents and service requests.

Responsibilities

• Respond to IT incidents and service requests with timely resolutions.
• Deploy, maintain, and repair computer hardware and network infrastructure.
• Evaluate, upgrade, and implement software and hardware systems in projects.
• Coordinate with the Network Operations team and support enterprise-level technical projects.
• Provide in-person, phone, and remote support to DOH staff and facilities.
