Job summary

The University of New Mexico's Center for Development and Disability seeks an IT Support Tech 2 to provide user support for Windows-based environments across the CDD. You will collaborate with the Technology Services team to implement current Windows technologies and ensure excellent customer service.

Required are strong technical, communication, and organizational skills, with a focus on supporting multiple divisions and programs, including conferencing and security policy adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2+ years of related experience.
• Higher education or experience interchangeable year-for-year.

Responsibilities

• Provide general problem solving and user support for all programs and divisions, including OS, applications and video conferencing.
• Adhere to laws and policies related to handling sensitive information.
• Write and maintain user instructions and technical documentation.
• Maintain systems and support models for Windows platforms.
• Audit conferencing and video recording equipment for high-quality user experience.
• Maintain records including user lists, accounts, security, licenses and equipment inventory.
• Stay current with technology developments relevant to the role.
• Join technology projects as a team member, providing some direction.
