Job summary

South Carolina Department of Transportation seeks a Regional Information Consultant (IRC) Manager for District 4 and District 5 to lead IT deployment, maintenance, and support of devices across multiple counties including Florence. You will supervise IRC staff, coordinate with SOC and IT Security, and ensure training and policy adherence.

The role requires a bachelor's degree with 3.5 years of relevant experience, and a valid driver's license. Regular travel across the region is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3.5 years in automated information or related systems.
• Experience in design, installation, operation, repair, or processing of information in a data processing environment.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee deployment, maintenance, and support of IT devices across districts.
• Supervise IRC staff: training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
• Coordinate with SOC, DEAs, and IT Security Manager to manage events and security procedures.
• Ensure IT training needs are addressed and policy compliance is maintained.
