Job summary

iHireLandscaping seeks an experienced Irrigation Manager to lead irrigation operations serving the Longs, SC and Wilmington, NC markets. This hands-on leadership role manages technicians, projects, estimates, and client relationships while ensuring safe, efficient work to high standards.

The candidate will travel between Longs and Wilmington regularly to support crews and active job sites, oversee budgets, and grow the division with strong business acumen.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in irrigation management or leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, controllers, valves, piping, and water distribution.
• Experience preparing estimates, bids, proposals, and project take-offs.
• Experience supervising and developing field crews.
• Willingness to travel between Longs, SC and Wilmington, NC.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, train, and develop irrigation technicians.
• Schedule and assign irrigation projects and service work.
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and deliverables.
• Conduct regular job site inspections for quality, productivity, and safety.
• Prepare take-offs, proposals, bids, and project scopes.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Develop budgets and financial forecasts for irrigation operations.
• Monitor project costs and division performance.
