Saluda Hill Landscapes in Lexington, SC is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Field Manager to oversee irrigation and application teams, ensuring high-quality maintenance for client properties.

You will schedule activities, supervise technicians, maintain safety standards, and collaborate with project managers to meet timelines and budgets.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong organization, communication, and problem-solving to improve efficiency and field service results.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree or certification in turf management, horticulture, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience in landscape maintenance, irrigation, chemical applications, or a related field.
• Previous leadership or team management experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, fertilizers, pesticides, turf care, plant care, and landscape maintenance best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret site plans, schedules, and technical documents.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Effective leadership and communication skills with the ability to train, support, and manage team members.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required.
• State pesticide applicator license preferred, or the ability to obtain one within the required timeframe.
• Ability to lift more than 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and lead irrigation and application teams, providing guidance and support with daily operations.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee maintenance activities to ensure properties meet company quality standards and client expectations.
• Monitor and inspect completed work to ensure irrigation and application services are performed correctly and efficiently.
• Train and develop team members while reinforcing company standards, industry best practices, and safety procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving irrigation systems, turf health, plant health, and chemical applications.
• Maintain accurate records related to schedules, completed work, product usage, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to coordinate maintenance activities and support broader operational goals.
• Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations.
• Manage the inventory, storage, and proper use of fertilizers, pesticides, irrigation materials, and other necessary supplies.
• Assist with hiring, employee development, performance evaluations, and other efforts that support the continued growth of the team.
