Job summary

AmTrust Financial Services Inc. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to market Workers Comp, BOP, Commercial package, and other specialty lines to independent agencies within Maryland. The role emphasizes collaboration, strong communication, and attainment of revenue goals.

Travel within Maryland is required to visit agency partners and train them on products, underwriting appetite, and online systems. A 4-year degree and insurance experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of insurance sales, marketing or related field
• 4 year college degree or business equivalent
• Insurance designations a plus
• Knowledge of the commercial P&C insurance industry

Responsibilities

• Set appointments and conduct face-to-face meetings with independent agencies and brokers in the territory.
• Execute territory marketing strategy to drive new business premium growth.
• Collaborate with underwriting to monitor new business submissions and quotes.
• Complete weekly agency visit reports.
• participate in weekly sales calls and quarterly/annual meetings.
• Meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals and revenue objectives.
• Train agents on products, underwriting appetite, and quote/account management systems.
• Maintain knowledge of all AmTrust products and solutions and collaborate with other units.
