Qualifications

• 3+ years of insurance sales or related marketing experience.
• 4-year college degree or business equivalent is required.
• Insurance designations are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sets appointments and conducts face-to-face meetings with independent agencies and brokers throughout the assigned territory.
• Executes territory marketing strategy to drive new business premium growth.
• Works closely with underwriting to monitor and follow-up on new business submissions and quoted accounts.
• Completes weekly agency visit reports.
• Participates in weekly sales calls and quarterly/annual sales team meetings.
• Trains agents on products, underwriting appetite, and online quoting/account management.
• Maintains knowledge of all AmTrust products and coordinates with other business units as appropriate.
• Develops an annual Business Development Strategy for the territory.
• Exhibits knowledge of competitors and market trends.

Overview

AmTrust Financial Services is seeking a Regional Sales Manager responsible for the marketing and sales of Workers Comp, BOP, Commercial package, and other specialty lines coverages to independent agencies. We are looking for a collaborative Sales Leader with strong communication skills and the ability to read, analyze and champion for our strategic initiatives and goals. Consistently delivers on AmTrust revenue goals and demonstrates a vision for sales success within our framework of corporate values.

Travel within the state is required to visit with agency partners.

Responsibilities

• Sets appointments and conducts face-to-face meetings with independent insurance agencies and brokers throughout the assigned territory.
• Executes territory marketing strategy to drive new business premium growth
• Works closely with underwriting to monitor and follow-up on new business submissions and quoted accounts.

• Actively participates in weekly sales calls, quarterly and annual sales team meetings
• Performs on specific monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and revenue objectives
• Trains agents on our products and underwriting appetite
• Trains agents on use of on-line quoting and account management systems
• Maintains an understanding of all AmTrust products, services and solutions and initiates discussions with other business units as appropriate.
• Develops an annual Business Development Strategy for the assigned territory
• Exhibits knowledge of competitor products and capabilities along with general market trends.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the commercial P&C insurance industry, its products and services
• Ability to drive results by identifying and resolving issues within scope of responsibility
• Advanced communication skills
• Knowledge of selling insurance products through intermediaries and distributors.

Education & Experience:

• 3+ years of insurance sales, marketing or related field equivalent.
• 4 year college degree or business equivalent
