AmTrust Financial Services is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead sales of Workers' Comp, BOP, Commercial package and other specialty lines to independent agencies. The role requires strong communication, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive revenue within our corporate framework.

Travel within Maryland is required to visit agency partners. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in insurance sales or related fields, with a 4-year degree and insurance designations preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of insurance sales or marketing experience.
• 4 year college degree or business equivalent.
• Insurance designations are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sets appointments and conducts face-to-face meetings with independent agencies and brokers within the territory.
• Executes territory marketing strategy to drive new business premium growth.
• Collaborates with underwriting to monitor submissions and quotes.
• Completes weekly agency visit reports and participates in sales calls and meetings.
• Meets monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and revenue objectives.
• Trains agents on products, underwriting appetite, and online quoting/account management tools.
• Maintains knowledge of AmTrust products and coordinates with other business units as appropriate.
• Develops an annual Business Development Strategy for the territory.
• Shows knowledge of competitor products and market trends.

Overview

AmTrust Financial Services is seeking a Regional Sales Manager responsible for the marketing and sales of Workers Comp, BOP, Commercial package, and other specialty lines coverages to independent agencies. We are looking for a collaborative Sales Leader with strong communication skills and the ability to read, analyze and champion for our strategic initiatives and goals. Consistently delivers on AmTrust revenue goals and demonstrates a vision for sales success within our framework of corporate values.

Travel within the state is required to visit with agency partners.

Responsibilities

• Sets appointments and conducts face-to-face meetings with independent insurance agencies and brokers throughout the assigned territory.
• Executes territory marketing strategy to drive new business premium growth
• Works closely with underwriting to monitor and follow-up on new business submissions and quoted accounts.
• Completes weekly agency visit reports
• Actively participates in weekly sales calls, quarterly and annual sales team meetings
• Performs on specific monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and revenue objectives
• Trains agents on our products and underwriting appetite
• Trains agents on use of on-line quoting and account management systems
• Maintains an understanding of all AmTrust products, services and solutions and initiates discussions with other business units as appropriate.
• Develops an annual Business Development Strategy for the assigned territory
• Exhibits knowledge of competitor products and capabilities along with general market trends.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• 3+ years of insurance sales, marketing or related field equivalent.
• 4 year college degree or business equivalent
