Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Regional Installation Manager to lead a team of project managers, construction managers, and site superintendents across PI projects. You will drive safety initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage financial performance for a portfolio of jobs within the region.

The role requires extensive travel up to 50%, strong communication, and proven leadership in construction operations; a relevant engineering or construction degree is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible operations management in Building Construction with direct project management.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills; travel up to 50%.
• Proficiency in MS Projects; MS Office; Adobe Writer; Visio.
• Strong presentation skills and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Project Managers, Construction Managers, Project Executives, Site Superintendents and Customer Operations Associates.
• Drive safety programs and ensure OSHA 30 certification for field staff.
• Manage project financials: forecast, backlog reviews, and billings; improve margin.
• Ensure on-time installations with high quality and client satisfaction; document meetings.
• Lead procurement and contract management activities, including subcontracts and claims handling.
