Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Financial Services is seeking an experienced Information Security Officer to lead the security team within the Americas region. You will partner with BISOs, IT, Compliance and Legal to implement secure-by-design practices and align with global security standards.

You will drive cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and cloud/AI security initiatives, ensuring resilient architectures and compliant data usage across the organization.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. at the time of application.
• Minimum of 5 years of overall cybersecurity experience.
• Strong background in cybersecurity including large-scale IT product rollouts.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer/Information Science or Information Technology preferred.
• CISSP, CCSP, or AZ-500 certifications are highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives and evolving threats.
• Governance, policy, and compliance management across security standards and regulations.
• Oversee the enterprise information-security program and risk management.
• Lead operational security, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Collaborate with Global, Regional, and Local security stakeholders to embed secure-by-design practices.
