Job summary

ZEISS Group is seeking a Regional Information Security Officer (RISO) to join the regional IT and Information Security team. The role represents CIT-I in the region, guiding governance, risk, and policy across security domains.

You will lead security programs, review directives, and coordinate with regional business and IT units to uphold ZEISS security standards, including post-M&A integrations and incident response coordination.

Qualifications

• University degree in information security, information technology, engineering, cyber security, natural sciences, technology or similar.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security, IT security, or a related field with proven leadership.
• Experience in a technology-driven industry and working with senior leadership to drive security initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an independent 2nd line-of-defence with governance and advisory role for region.
• Design and drive information security policies, standards, and processes regionally.
• Lead regional information security team to enable 1st line-of-defence to implement security standards.
• Communicate ZEISS information security strategy with regional stakeholders.
• Support regional security incident response and risk management activities.
