Job summary

Advanced Technology Services is seeking a Regional Field Service Maintenance Technician to support our industrial clients in the Greenville area. You will perform expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance, diagnose equipment issues, and ensure uptime in harsh manufacturing environments.

You will identify parts, source supplies, document work in service reports, and mentor junior technicians while upholding safety standards and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical Associate degree preferred.
• 10+ years of related maintenance experience with a technical focus, or 12+ years in the industry.
• Deep understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
• Experience in condition based maintenance techniques, precision mechanical alignments, and maintenance of applicable process equipment.
• Experience in programmable logic controllers, field device troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical drive and motor systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Identify parts, source supplies, and evaluate alternatives to improve reliability.
• Set up machining operations and perform welding when required.
• Document work in service reports and data records.
• Train and mentor junior technicians as part of project teams.
• Follow safety policies and promote safe work practices.
