Job summary

Pilot Company in Kearney, NE is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to install, maintain, and repair facility systems across multiple store locations. You’ll work from home with a company vehicle, a generous bonus, weekends off, and no on-call requirements.

Responsibilities include maintaining HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical systems, and fuel dispensers, with OSHA compliance and safety training provided. Travel is <10%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA Universal 608 certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• Minimum 3 years of repairing commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment.
• Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
• OSHA guidelines understanding (OSHA 10 training provided).
• Ability to work independently and travel <10%.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests, diagnose and repair equipment.
• Communicate repair status to supervisor and store management.
• Submit same-day work order notes and track charges.
• Monitor stock levels and maintain tools and uniforms.
• Repair fuel dispensers and fuel security systems (training provided).
• Inspect interiors and exteriors for safety and maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on rooftop HVAC and food-service equipment.
