Job summary

Walmart in Des Moines, IA is seeking a licensed Manager/HVAC in Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee predictive and preventive maintenance of our facilities within a regional area. You will lead a team of technicians, ensuring buildings operate efficiently, safely, and sustainably for our associates and customers.

The role requires 3–5 years of building maintenance experience, Electrical/Plumbing/Mechanical expertise, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• General Facilities Services / Building maintenance experience (3-5 years optimum).
• Electrical, plumbing, and/or mechanical experience.
• Leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the region ~50% and maintain contractor licenses in the employment state.
• Collaborate with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility needs.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as required.
• Provide Reporting and analytics on maintenance activities.
• Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses to stay in good standing.
• Participate in training to stay current with regulatory requirements and perform site inspections.
