Job summary

Walmart is hiring an experienced Licensed Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations to lead facilities maintenance across a local regional market. This role moves beyond one building to own facility performance across multiple locations.

You will drive predictive and preventative maintenance with Store Managers and Facilities Services, ensure safety and compliance, and travel about 50% within the region.

Qualifications

• Active HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license in good standing in the state of residence.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• 3–5 years of facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, or related experience.
• Strong HVAC/mechanical knowledge and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer-service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of facilities maintenance technicians.
• Oversee HVAC/R and general building maintenance across assigned locations.
• Partner with Store Managers and Facilities Services leaders to identify and resolve facility needs.
• Use reporting and root-cause analysis to improve equipment reliability and maintenance performance.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors and ensure compliance with codes.
