Job summary

Walmart seeks a Licensed Facilities Maintenance Operations Manager to lead HVAC/R and building maintenance across multiple locations in the region. You will coach a team of technicians, partner with Store Managers, and drive reliability and regulatory compliance.

You will manage preventative maintenance strategy, ensure safety, and coordinate with vendors while maintaining licenses and EPA certification. Strong leadership and communication are a must.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license in good standing.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• 3–5 years of facilities management or related experience.
• Strong HVAC/mechanical knowledge and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of facilities maintenance technicians.
• Oversee HVAC/R and general building maintenance across assigned locations.
• Partner with Store Managers and Facilities Services leaders to identify and resolve facility needs.
• Use reporting, analytics and root-cause analysis to improve equipment reliability and maintenance performance.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed.
• Maintain required contractor licensing and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Secure required permits and coordinate inspections in accordance with mechanical and building codes.
• Conduct site inspections to support safety, quality and compliance standards.
