Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Human Services Program Representative 1 to connect Norristown State Hospital with partner agencies, review services, and share important updates. This role supports coordination across hospital teams, counties, and judicial partners, ensuring accurate information and timely guidance.

You will participate in meetings, conduct on-site visits with partners, and prepare reports for leadership and oversight groups.

Qualifications

• Three years of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating a human service program, and a bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide Consultation: Guidance to hospital staff, counties, and service providers on rules, regulations, and mental health services.
• Review Information: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to assess compliance with legal, contractual, and departmental standards.
• Communicate Findings: Share reports, recommendations, and corrective actions with hospital teams, counties, and legal partners.
• External Coordination: Attend meetings and participate with community committees, advisory boards, and advocacy organizations to support information sharing.
• Conduct Visits: Complete on-site visits with judicial and community partners to review reports and follow up on issues.
• Prepare Reports: Write clear, timely reports for review by hospital leadership, committees, and oversight groups.
