Job description

Regional Human Resources Manager (Hybrid – San Antonio, TX | 50% Travel)

We’re looking for an experienced and strategic Regional Human Resources Manager to support HR operations across multiple locations within a designated region. This hybrid role is based in San Antonio, TX and requires up to 50% travel to regional sites. You’ll play a key role in creating a compliant, inclusive, and performance-driven workplace, while aligning regional practices with broader organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Align regional HR initiatives with business priorities through partnership with local and corporate leadership
  • Drive organizational change and lead strategic workforce initiatives
  • Collaborate on recruiting, retention, and talent development strategies specific to the region
  • Leverage HR analytics to guide decisions, improve engagement, and reduce turnover

Employee Relations

  • Advise regional leaders and managers on performance, coaching, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes
  • Foster an inclusive culture that values collaboration and respect across diverse teams

Compliance and Policy Management

  • Ensure HR practices adhere to all applicable labor laws, wage/hour standards, and internal policies
  • Lead HR-related audits, investigations, and policy implementation efforts

Support for Site-Level Managers

  • Guide and train local managers on HR processes including onboarding, leave administration, and documentation
  • Establish consistent HR practices across offices and support ongoing manager development

Corporate Collaboration

  • Serve as the liaison between the field and corporate HR functions (e.g., talent acquisition, compensation, benefits)
  • Ensure regional execution of company-wide HR programs is aligned and effective

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (advanced degree or certification preferred)
  • 5+ years of HR experience, ideally supporting multiple locations
  • Solid understanding of HR laws and best practices in a multi-location setting
  • Experience in employee relations, compliance, hiring, and training
  • Working knowledge of regional employment laws is required
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
  • Background in manufacturing, distribution, or similar environments is a plus
  • Willingness to travel frequently across regional sites and occasionally to company headquarters
