Position Overview:
We are seeking a professional and personable Regional Human Resources Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for 200+ employees, providing oversight for one of our four regional markets. This role is essential to maintaining our company's image by fostering a warm and welcoming environment while demonstrating a polished, professional, and kind demeanor. The ideal candidate will provide administrative and project assistance to Human Resources, supporting effective communication across departments.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Greet visitors and employees, in person and by phone, warmly and direct them to the appropriate person or department.

  • Serve as a back-up to answering and managing a multi-line phone system, quickly addressing inquiries, and documenting incoming needs.

  • Support Human Resources with event planning and administrative tasks, including electronic filing, scheduling, and maintaining records.

  • Represent the company professionally, embodying our core values by servicing our employees and community needs.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of employee requests and responses to ensure clear communication is provided to all involved parties.



  • Support employees with onboarding, benefit enrollment, and HR engagement initiatives.



  • Support Human Resources with marketing of employee engagement events, benefits, and business news.



  • Works onsite a primary office, and includes regular travel to quarries, asphalt plants, and paving offices within 45 miles of the office to engage and service employees.

  • Includes travel, working from the Bowling Green office two full days a month.



Qualifications:



  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to oversee office environment with little supervision.

  • A valid driver's license with a safe driving record.

  • Preference given to recent college graduate with bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or similar major.
