Nevada Gold Mines, a Barrick Gold Corporation venture, is seeking an experienced Site Safety & Health Manager to lead HS&T strategy across a complex mining operation. You will partner with senior leadership to align safety program with enterprise goals, strengthen risk controls, and deliver measurable improvements in safety performance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field (or equivalent experience) required.
• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible HS&T experience in mining, refining, or another high-risk industrial environment, including senior-level leadership responsibility.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent designation preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead HS&T strategy and execution; own the site HS&T management system and oversee safety, occupational health and training.
• Build and lead high-performing teams across safety, industrial hygiene, workers’ compensation, emergency response and training.
• Drive operational excellence with standardized training programs, SOPs, assurance protocols and data management processes.
• Strengthen risk management with fatal risk and critical control governance; monitor trends and elevate corrective actions.
• Partner with site and senior leadership to shape HS&T objectives and integrate safety priorities into business plans.
• Ensure compliance, assurance and reporting; maintain an annual risk-based assurance plan and track findings to closure.
• Advance continuous improvement by adopting new technologies and sharing lessons across operations.
• Plan for the future with annual and long-range HS&T strategies, budgets, and workforce plans.
