Job summary

IPG Photonics is seeking an HR Partner to deliver hands-on HR support across multiple sites in the region, ensuring daily HR operations align with global HR policies and regional business goals.

The role serves as the primary HR contact for regional leaders and employees, advising on a wide range of HR matters and providing responsive support to meet business needs. A Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and 5–8 years of progressive HR experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5-8 years of progressive HR experience across multi-site or regional scope.
• Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to build trusted partnerships with leaders and employees.
• HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR contact for managers and employees across the region.
• Partner with leaders to align HR initiatives with business goals and drive growth and efficiency.
• Lead employee relations, investigations, documentation, and policy interpretation.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
• Coach managers on leadership, communication, and talent development best practices.
• Support recruitment and workforce planning to ensure staffing and pipelines.
• Lead regional onboarding and engagement initiatives for a consistent employee experience.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
• Analyze HR metrics and recommend data-driven improvements.
• Collaborate with corporate HR centers of excellence to implement programs locally.
