Job summary

CVI Infrared Optics is seeking a seasoned HR Business Partner to support manufacturing site and functional leaders, focusing on employee relations, performance management, engagement, and talent development. You will partner with the HR Director to navigate complex people matters, drive consistent HR practices, and support organizational change across sites.

You will guide workforce planning, succession, and leadership development while ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required, or 6-8 years combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 6–8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including Sr. HR Generalist or HRBP roles.
• Demonstrated experience supporting employee relations, performance management, and manager coaching.
• Experience supporting leaders in manufacturing, operations, or multi-site environments preferred.
• PHR or SPHR Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site and functional leaders to support people-related decision-making and leadership effectiveness.
• Provide advisory support on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and talent needs.
• Assist in organizational design and role clarity across sites in MSS Global Operations.
• Collaborate with TA to recruit and onboard to meet growth needs.
• Coach leaders on performance management, feedback, accountability, and development.
• Support HR programs, compliance with laws, and policy interpretation across sites.
• Lead investigations and address complex employee relations matters in partnership with HR management.
