Job summary

PLS Financial Services, Inc. is seeking a Regional Manager of Human Resources in Chicago, IL. This consultative role guides a positive work environment and mitigates employment-related risks by coaching leaders and advising on HR matters.

The position reports to the Senior Regional Manager of HR and requires collaboration with field leadership, proactive change management, and a focus on employee engagement across a geographically diverse footprint.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in human resources with focus on employee relations in a multi-unit, geographically diverse field-support role.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Partner with field leadership to assess and resolve medium to high complex HR matters.
• Engage with employees to understand needs of a diverse workforce.
• Conduct investigations and prepare written summaries of findings.
• Develop statistics and reports for leadership use.
• Provide counsel to business leaders to drive high performing teams.
• Explain policies and compliance requirements to leadership.
