Job summary

The J.M. Smucker Company in Orrville, OH is seeking a Manager of Regional Human Resources to lead HR strategy and people outcomes across multiple plants. Hybrid work with significant travel to regional sites (approximately 50%).

As a senior HR leader, you will partner with Operations and COEs to translate business priorities into workforce plans, develop leadership capability, and ensure effective change management across a union and non-union manufacturing network.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HR, business, management or related field.
10+ years of progressive HR and leadership experience.
5+ years leading HR professionals across multiple locations.
Experience in union and non-union environments; contract administration and grievance resolution.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary HR partner to plant leadership and translate priorities into people and organization plans.
Lead 7–12 Plant HR Managers and Associate HR Managers across sites.
Partner with Labor Relations on contracts, grievances, union engagement, and workforce continuity.
Leverage HR technology, workforce data, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to improve decisions.
