Job summary

Cardinal seeks an experienced HR Manager to deliver hands-on, in-person HR support across multiple offices and project sites within the region. You will lead the full HR lifecycle for hourly and salaried staff, from recruitment through performance management and employee relations.

You will ensure wage-and-hour compliance, support benefits and policy development, and collaborate with site leadership to deploy field crews on new projects. Expect regular travel to regional offices and sites.

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive HR experience supporting hourly and salaried staff.
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.
Strong verbal and written communication and confidentiality.
Deep knowledge of federal/state employment law and wage compliance.
Willingness to travel frequently to regional offices.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on HR support across multiple Cardinal offices and project sites.
Lead full HR lifecycle including workforce planning, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
Support recruitment pipelines for field and office roles.
Ensure wage-and-hour compliance and correct hourly vs salaried classifications.
Maintain HR documentation and policy materials across the region.
