Job summary

Atlas Outdoor in Flint, Michigan, seeks a Human Resources Generalist to lead HR functions and act as a business partner to management. You will own full-cycle recruiting for the Detroit Region, provide HR guidance on policies, process new hires, and support performance management and employee relations.

Responsibilities include coordinating H2B and Permanent Residence processes, ensuring OSHA/EEO/ADA/FMLA/compliance, and managing HR systems with reporting to support strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Industrial Psychology, Business, or related field.
• 2:
• 3–5 years of HR experience; landscaping or manufacturing preferred.
• HR Certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel to branch locations.
• Bilingual English-Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for the Detroit Region.
• Provide HR expertise to employees and managers regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct new employee orientation and process new hire paperwork.
• Advise managers on performance management and employee relations issues.
• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate H2B and Permanent Residence Card processes.
• Comply with OSHA, EEO, ADA, FMLA, and Workers’ Compensation; advise on laws and policies.
• Manage HR systems to ensure data integrity and reporting.
• Coordinate employee appreciation events and community activities.
• Lead or participate in internal and external audits.
• Create correspondence to employees and managers as needed.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
