Schill Landscaping is seeking an HR Generalist to serve as an employee advocate, internal consultant, and business partner in Flint, MI. The role leads day-to-day HR functions and supports all HR activities with a focus on performance management and onboarding.

You will manage talent acquisition for the Detroit Region, advise managers on HR issues, and coordinate H2B/PRC processes. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, 3–5 years of HR experience

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business or related field.
• HR Certification preferred.
• 3-5 years of related HR experience; landscaping/manufacturing background preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for the Detroit Region and all locations in the region.
• Provide HR guidance to employees and managers on policies and programs.
• Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding documentation.
• Advise managers on performance management and employee relations.
• Coordinate H2B and Permanent Residence Card processes with internal partners and counsel.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EEO, ADA, FMLA, and Worker’s Compensation.
• Manage HR systems and reporting to support strategic initiatives.
• Coordinate employee recognition and community involvement activities.
• Participate in internal and external audits.
• Prepare correspondence for employees and managers.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
