Job summary

Hinckley Yachts is seeking a Generalist to lead regional HR functions onsite in Stuart, FL, with travel to Ft. Myers, Georgia, and other southern sites as needed.

You will handle onboarding, benefits, compliance, employee relations, and safety while partnering with leadership to foster a cohesive workplace culture. The role requires 5–10 years of progressive HR experience in a generalist capacity for a sizable organization, strong communication, and thorough knowledge of federal/state employment

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of progressive HR experience in a generalist role.
• Experience supporting multi-site operations is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee information.
• Willingness to travel regionally up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as regional HR lead for employees and managers within the region.
• Collaborate with the broader HR team to optimize regional processes.
• Manage onboarding, background checks, and orientation for new hires.
• Maintain accurate employee data and HR records across systems.
• Administer benefits enrollment and answer related inquiries.
• Support leave management (FMLA, PFML, Workers Comp) and return-to-work processes.
• Ensure OSHA reporting and maintain injury/illness logs and forms.
