Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support 17 Travel Plazas across the Pennsylvania region. The role focuses on employee relations, investigations, staffing, onboarding, compliance, and district reporting.

The position is exempt, requires 3–5 years HR experience, a Bachelor's degree preferred, and familiarity with ADP Workforce Now, HRIS/ATS. Travel within the region is expected.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive HR experience including employee relations, investigations, recruiting and onboarding.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
• Working knowledge of employment laws (ADA, FLSA, FMLA).
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now and HRIS/ATS is a plus.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead employee relations investigations and counseling across 17 travel plazas; coordinate with the Regional HR Business Partner.
• Support full-cycle recruiting: post openings, screen applicants, interview, and assist onboarding.
• Ensure timely follow-up and documentation for investigations and actions; maintain compliant practices.
• Develop weekly/monthly people tracking and district-level reports; identify trends and risks.
• Collaborate with HR Partners and leaders to strengthen onboarding and staffing processes.
