Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive revenue across a portfolio of 2-10 hotels in Scottsdale, AZ. You will solicit and secure new accounts and work with Directors of Sales and hotel leadership to meet revenue and market share goals.

The role focuses on Leisure, SMERF, Business Travel, and Groups as applicable by property; travel and overtime may be required. A valid driver’s license and strong communication/presentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years hotel sales experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to negotiate and influence.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently; strong organizational and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Effectively attain assigned sales and revenue goals for the hotels.
• Proactively conduct solicitation calls, sales tours, and entertain clients by property segment.
• Grow existing relationships with assigned accounts across Leisure, SMERF, BT, and Groups.
• Monitor and evaluate trends within the market segment.
• Maintain a service-oriented approach with guests and staff.
• Adhere to company regulations, standards, and sales metrics.
• Develop knowledge of hotel operations and policies.
• Maintain visibility in local community and industry organizations.
• Attend meetings and participate in promotions related to direct sales segments.
