Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality, LLC is seeking an Area Sales Manager for Hyatt Place Scottsdale Old Town. You will drive revenue for a group of hotels, soliciting new accounts and maintaining relationships with leisure, SMERF, business travel and group segments.

Responsibilities include meeting sales goals, conducting calls and tours, and coordinating with hotel leadership. A valid driver’s license and MS Office skills are required; strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required with at least 2 years Hotel Sales experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for the applicable state.
• Developed verbal and written communication skills to negotiate and influence clients.
• Experience with professional selling skills: opening, probing, supporting, closing.
• Proficient in general computer knowledge, especially Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks; strong organization and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Attain assigned sales and revenue goals for the collection of hotels.
• Proactively conduct solicitation calls, sales tours, and entertain clients for Leisure, SMERF, BT and Groups.
• Grow relationships with assigned accounts for Leisure, SMERF, BT and Groups.
• Monitor market trends within the segment.
• Maintain visibility in local community and industry organizations.
• Participate in promotions related to direct sales segments.
