Job summary

First Chair Destinations in Steamboat Springs, CO is seeking an operations leader to guide a geographically dispersed team across multiple properties. You will develop emerging leaders, build strong teams that meet KPIs, and balance efficiency with quality to ensure exceptional experiences for owners, guests, and staff.

The role requires 3–5 years in hospitality operations, prior management experience, and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in operations within hospitality.
• Prior management experience in a similar industry.
• Proficient with laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.
• Willing to travel between worksites as needed.
• Dependable, self-motivated and team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team through coaching, mentoring, and evaluations.
• Oversee daily operations for a portfolio of properties to optimize productivity.
• Develop relationships with property owners and ensure quality standards.
• Meet metrics such as NPS and appearance standards.
• Manage portfolio budget with annual costs and cost-benefit analysis.
• Support the team with guest and homeowner concerns via email, calls, and tickets.
• Conduct regular inspections prior to guest/owner arrivals.
• Foster a collaborative work environment and resolve conflicts.
• Assist recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of new team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership; represent team in meetings.
• Coordinate with Onboarding for new units joining the portfolio.
• Provide cross-coverage for Co-GM(s) when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned in hospitality.
