Mars Veterinary Health in St. Louis is seeking a Hospital Maintenance Technician to maintain facilities across the St. Louis region.

The role focuses on preventive maintenance, repairs, and coordinating projects to keep clinics compliant and efficient. Candidates should have a construction or facilities background with blueprint experience, and be able to manage multiple tasks and travel as needed within MVH guidelines. This is a full-time role located in the St.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Facilities Management or a similar field is preferred.
• Three years of experience in Construction or Maintenance are required.
• Familiarity with blueprints, electrical, plumbing, and general building construction.
• Experience with building construction power tools and related installations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify Mars Five Principles.
• Identify, manage, perform, measure, schedule and track facility repair and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Manage in-house maintenance work orders, schedules and timelines.
• Oversee regional tile floor care and maintenance programs.
• Source and manage painting contractors to complete paints in region to standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance on medical equipment and report damages.
• Document and report facility damages, repairs, and variances.
• Provide clear updates to managers and field leaders.
• Purchase and inventory maintenance supplies.
• Coordinate travel within MVH guidelines and budget.
• Some travel is required.
