Job summary

Mars Veterinary Health seeks a Hospital Maintenance Technician to maintain hospital facilities and lead repairs and preventive maintenance across the North Dallas region.

Candidates should have construction or facilities management experience (3+ years), with knowledge of electrical, plumbing, casework, and building construction terms; travel within the North Dallas area may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Facilities Management or a similar field preferred.
• Three years of experience in Construction or Maintenance required.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, casework, and general building construction terms.
• Experience with power tools, painting, cabinetry, laminate, tile installation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hospital facilities and oversee repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Schedule, track, and communicate repair work and timelines to hospitals and construction managers.
• Coordinate travel within MVH guidelines and budget; manage in-house maintenance work orders.
