Gentiva seeks an experienced Area Vice President of Hospice Operations to lead ten MO branches, driving regulatory compliance, growth, and high-quality care across markets.

You will oversee strategic operations, financial stewardship, staff development, and partnerships with hospitals and physicians, while maintaining patient-centered service and robust governance. This role demands strong leadership and a passion for interdisciplinary teamwork.

Qualifications

• RN Degree highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead Local Operational Strategy across multiple hospice sites.
• Ensure Regulatory Excellence with Medicare, state licensing, accreditation and CMS/Survey readiness.
• Build and grow partnerships with hospitals, SNFs, physicians, and discharge planners.
• Patient-centered oversight across home, hospital, and long-term care settings.
• Team leadership of executive directors, medical staff, and interdepartmental teams.
• Public and community relations to raise the organization's profile and address concerns.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement to drive best-in-class hospice care.
