Gentiva is seeking an Area Vice President of Hospice Operations to lead and optimize 10+ hospice programs across Missouri. You will direct multi-site operations, safeguard regulatory compliance, manage budgets, and drive quality patient care while expanding hospital and physician referrals.
The role requires senior-level oversight, team leadership, and strong communication to engage communities and improve performance across markets.
Qualifications
- Multi-site hospice or healthcare operations leadership experience.
- 5+ years of progressive leadership in hospice/healthcare.
- Regulatory compliance, budgeting, and staff leadership experience.
- Experience with HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Active RN license and valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Direct day-to-day operations across multiple hospice sites.
- Maintain regulatory compliance and readiness for surveys.
- Grow referral partnerships with hospitals, SNFs, physicians, and discharge planners.
- Oversee quality patient and family services with clinical oversight.
- Lead executive directors, medical staff, volunteers, and teams.
- Manage public/community relations and resolve concerns.
- Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.
