Job summary

Transitions Hospice is seeking a Director of Hospice Operations to lead the region's staffing, clinical and financial performance across all sites. This role drives census growth, referral development, and regional strategy in partnership with the Administrator and leadership team.

You will oversee quality, compliance, and QAPI initiatives, ensuring Hospice regulations are met while building a strong clinical leadership bench and a resilient, patient-centered operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare administration; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive hospice or home health leadership.
• Proven track record of driving census and organizational growth in healthcare services.
• Knowledge of Medicare Hospice Certification requirements, CHAP standards, and hospice regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional staffing and scheduling across sites.
• Drive census growth, referrals, and market share.
• Ensure quality, compliance, and regulatory adherence across the region.
• Manage regional budget, forecasts, and reporting to leadership.
