Job summary

Flagship Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a Manufactured Home Community. The role covers painting, remodeling, plumbing, electrical work and landscaping, with an emphasis on autonomy and safety.

The ideal candidate will work with a variety of systems and support residents by maintaining property standards. Responsibilities include servicing heating and plumbing, inspecting alarms, performing minor repairs, pest control, and grounds upkeep.

Qualifications

• Must have property and/or building maintenance experience.
• Candidates should observe health and safety guidelines and take pride in the standards and services delivered to residents.
• Experience with painting, minor remodeling, plumbing and electrical work is preferred.
• CMRP certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
• Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed.
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.).
• Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide.
• Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned.
• Keep grounds and landscaping in tip-top shape.
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed.
• Mow, weed and hedge trim; perform equipment maintenance.
