Job summary

Flagship Communities is seeking a hardworking Maintenance Technician to join our team at our manufactured home community. You will perform painting, remodeling, minor plumbing and electrical work, and landscaping, with the ability to work autonomously while adhering to health and safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate has 4–7 years of housing maintenance experience, owns tools, and can travel regionally. You will report to the Community Manager and take pride in keeping residents' homes and the

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Carpentry skills and ability to perform home repairs.
Experience in building maintenance preferred; CMRP is desirable.
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Assist in setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary.
Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed.
Perform manual repairs such as fixing locks or replacing windows.
Undertake pest control activities and keep grounds in good condition.
Assist in budget preparation and ensure adherence to it.
Mow, weed eat and hedge trim; maintain equipment.
General upkeep and other tasks as assigned.
