Job summary

HERMLE USA, Inc. in Franklin, Wisconsin seeks a Northeast Regional Sales Manager to actively develop new business, support customers and distributors, and negotiate in line with corporate guidelines.

The role requires extensive travel to promote Hermle products and periodic trips to Germany for training. The ideal candidate has at least ten years of sales experience in high-end machine tools, an engineering degree or equivalent experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least ten years of sales experience in the high-end machine tool industry.
• Graduate engineer (mechanical or electrical) or equivalent work-related experience with profound knowledge in machine tools.
• Strong negotiation and results-driven thinking.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including overseas to Germany.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively develop new business in assigned regions and exploit market potential.
• Competently support customers and Sales Reps / distributors in technical questions and applications.
• Independently negotiate with customers and Sales Reps / distributors within corporate guidelines.
• Extensive business travel to promote Hermle products to customers in designated area.
• Periodic overseas travel to Germany for training, maintaining product knowledge and customer visits.
• Attendance at trade shows and open houses.
• Self-motivating home office-based working.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
