Job summary

The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine is recruiting for a Regional Workforce Pathway Coordinator to support healthcare workforce development by coordinating student-facing career pathway programs in rural and frontier communities.

The role requires developing healthcare career exploration, enrichment, and readiness activities, coordinating HOSA chapter readiness, and guiding students through pathway opportunities aligned with regional workforce needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and two years of related work experience; OR a master’s degree and one year of related work experience.
Experience in program coordination or program management.
Experience in workforce development, community engagement, public health, education, or a related field.
Nevada driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Develop, coordinate, and implement student-facing healthcare career pathway activities.
Support student participation in healthcare training and certification pathways.
Align pathway activities with regional healthcare workforce needs and emerging career opportunities.
Coordinate student participation in pathway programming, competitions, enrichment activities, and workforce development opportunities.
