Job summary

Fast Track Physical Therapy in Avon, IN is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead physician relations and regional market growth. This full-time role focuses on building a sustainable referral network and driving measurable patient referrals across the Indianapolis area region.

You’ll own the growth strategy, identify high-value opportunities, and collaborate with clinic leadership to overcome barriers and expand the footprint. Local travel is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful outside sales, healthcare business development, physician relations, medical sales, or comparable B2B sales experience
• A demonstrated history of achieving measurable sales, referral, revenue, or territory-growth goals
• Strong prospecting and relationship-development skills
• Confidence engaging physicians, healthcare administrators, practice managers, and other decision-makers with a strong consultative selling style
• Experience using a CRM to manage sales activity, opportunities, and follow-up; Salesforce experience is a plus
• Comfort using data to identify opportunities and evaluate performance
• Strong organization, accountability, and follow-through
• The ability to work independently while remaining closely connected to a broader team
• Existing relationships within the local healthcare community are a plus
• Experience in physical therapy is not required; we can teach our clinical services and are looking for proven sales ability

Responsibilities

• Develop regional growth strategy to drive referral growth and market expansion
• Identify high-value physicians, practices, and health systems to target
• Develop and nurture physician and healthcare referral relationships
• Grow referral volume in existing accounts and create new ones
• Collaborate with leadership to create market-specific growth plans
• Convert opportunities into measurable patient referrals and maintain CRM coverage
• Work with clinic leadership to remove barriers to referral growth
