Datavant is seeking a Health Information Specialist to process patient health information requests, maintain HIPAA-compliant records, and support privacy and security across facilities in a high-volume environment at Augusta, GA. You will manage charts, document digital images, and respond to requests from patients, insurers, and attorneys.

The role requires strong data entry and communication skills, plus the ability to work with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities.

• Receive and process requests for patient health information in accordance with policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and security with all privileged information.
• Maintain working knowledge of facility software and health information processes.
• Respond to requests for patient records and transmit them appropriately.
• Answer inbound/outbound calls and assist with onboarding activities.
• Generate reports and assist in training associates in HIS positions.
