Datavant is seeking a dedicated Records Specialist to process medical record requests, ensuring HIPAA compliance and privacy throughout all releases of information. The role emphasizes accuracy in patient data, efficient handling of high-volume records, and collaboration across departments.

The ideal candidate brings at least 1 year of Health Information related experience, strong data entry skills, and professional English communication.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to commute between locations as needed.
• 1 year Health Information related experience.
• Strong data entry skills.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Detail and quality oriented for medical records.
• Must work with minimum supervision and respond to changing priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Process requests for patient health information in accordance with policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of privileged information.
• Maintain working knowledge of facility software.
• Adhere to Code of Conduct and policies.
• Inform management of work and site challenges.
• Assist with additional duties as needed.
• Ensure medical records are accurate and complete.
• Create digital images of paperwork for EMR storage.
• Respond to requests for patient records from internal and external sources.
